JBQ Basics ~ Grades K-6th
JBQ Basics (formerly Pee Wee Quiz) helps children in Kindergarten through 6th grade begin to develop a love for the Bible and an understanding of its basic truths. It teaches them to participate in a simple quiz bee style and prepares them to move on to Junior Bible Quiz. JBQ Basics utilizes the 10 point questions from the Bible Fact-Pak. Children participate in three league meets each in November, December, and February.
Junior Bible Quiz ~ Grades 2nd-6th
Junior Bible Quiz (JBQ) was created and designed to help children develop a love for the Bible and an understanding that its truth can guide their lives daily. JBQ offers a fun, exciting way to motivate children to understand the all-important truths in God’s Word. Through cooperative learning, children work together in teams to learn and understand the questions and answers from the Bible Fact-Pak. Then using cooperative competition the children meet with other teams for fun quiz matches. It has been said that JBQ is the fastest growing discipleship program in children’s ministry. Junior Bible Quiz will help all 2nd-6th graders master important Bible facts and teachings. It is a motivational tool to help children know what we believe and the biblical basis for that belief. League quiz meets are held throughout the regular season leading up to District, Regional, and National competitions.
Teen Bible Quiz ~ Grades 6th-12th
Teen Bible Quiz exists to encourage, by systematic memorization and study, an in-depth understanding of God’s Word among young people, leading to daily application of the Word. “LEARN God’s Word, LIVE out God’s Word, and LEAD with God’s Word.” Bible Quiz provides an opportunity for the discipleship of youth so that they will reflect the Spirit of Christ in attitude, word, and action. It cultivates, through competition, a proper attitude toward winning and losing and provides, through travel, opportunities to expand Christian friendships. Each year teens study a different book or books of the bible. League quiz meets are held throughout the regular season leading up to District, Regional, and National competitions. Each year students are eligible for many different college scholarships.
